Substrate Soilless Cultivation

This system is composed of galvanized brackets, trays, and planting bags, which have high strength and good corrosion resistance.

Completely isolate soil-borne diseases and reduce the occurrence of pests and diseases; the height of the cultivation trough can be adjusted according to the different needs of crops; improve the working environment and improve labor efficiency.

This program is suitable for growing tomatoes cucumber, chili, strawberry and other fruits and vegetables. Size and scheme can be customized, can do hanging type and bracket type.

System Feature

1. The substrate properties are superior
Coconut coir is the fibrous powder of the coconut shell, which is naturally and renewable. Good porosity can simultaneously coordinate the supply of water and air, avoiding common problems such as waterlogging, root rot or poor air permeability in soil cultivation. The pH value is slightly acidic and neutral: It is highly suitable for the growth of root systems of crops such as cucumbers, strawberries, and peppers, without the need for complex acid-base improvements as in soil conditioning. It can also greatly reduce the risk of soil-borne diseases.

2. Precise water and fertilizer management
In combination with the drip irrigation system, the water and fertilizer mixture (nutrient solution) is directly and evenly delivered to the roots of each crop through the main pipe, branch pipes and drip arrows. Supply as needed and precisely adjust the timing, frequency and amount of irrigation.

3. Intelligent environmental control
This system is usually combined with an intelligent greenhouse environmental control system to automatically adjust the temperature, humidity, light and CO₂ concentration in the greenhouse, creating the best growth conditions for the above-ground parts of crops.

4. Flexible cultivation mode
Coconut coir is usually packed into planting bags or troughs and can be cultivated off the ground. This model is highly suitable for:

  • Elevated cultivation: Suitable for strawberries, it is convenient for management and picking, and reduces the burden on labor.
  • Trough/Bag cultivation: Suitable for crops with tall vines or plants such as cucumbers and peppers. Combined with the hanging vine system, it can make full use of the greenhouse space.
