A-frame NFT Hydroponic System
A-shaped NFT system has made revolutionary structural innovations based on the classic NFT (Nutrient Film Technology). The planting troughs are arranged in multiple layers in A unique A-shaped pyramid structure. This design is not only extremely stable but also achieves 360-degree unobstructed light reception and unprecedented space utilization, allowing your planting area to multiply.
Product Features
1. Three-dimensional vertical structure
- The planting pipes are not laid flat on the ground but extend upwards and are distributed on both sides of the A-shaped structure. This makes its most prominent feature.
2. Efficient NFT technology core
- Thin liquid film: The nutrient solution flows at a very shallow depth (usually only 1-3 millimeters) at the bottom of the pipe, allowing the upper part of the plant roots to be exposed to the air while the lower part absorbs nutrients, achieving a perfect balance of water, fertilizer and oxygen.
- Closed-loop system: The nutrient solution flows from the high-level storage tank into the pipeline, passes through all the plant roots, and then converges in the low-level storage tank. It is then pumped back to the high-level tank by a water pump, forming a cycle, which is very water-saving.
3. Precise system composition
- Type A bracket: It is usually made of lightweight, strong and rust-proof materials such as aluminum profiles, PVC pipes or stainless steel.
- Planting pipes: Usually, PVC or ABS plastic round pipes are used, with planting holes on one side.
- Nutrient solution circulation system: It includes a storage tank, water pump, main pipeline, valves and return pipeline.
- Planting cups and substrates: Seedlings are cultivated in small planting cups (such as rock wool blocks or sponge blocks), and then placed in the planting holes of the pipes.
4. Suitable for leafy vegetables and herbaceous plants
- This system is particularly suitable for crops with short growth cycles, not overly large root systems and relatively light plant weights, such as lettuce, spinach, arugula, basil, mint, etc.
